Judge warns smart glasses wearers of contempt charges as Zuckerberg testifies in Meta trial

Mark Zuckerberg took the stand yesterday in a case that alleges Meta platforms such as Instagram and Facebook are purposely designed to be addictive to children. One of the first things the judge did was warn anyone wearing smart glasses that recording the proceedings would result in contempt of court charges.

The case, K.G.M. v. Meta et al., involves a 20-year-old Californian identified as Kaley who claims that years of using Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Snapchat as a child led to body dysmorphia, depression, and self-destructive thoughts. TikTok and Snap Inc., Snapchat's parent company, have already settled in the case

Yesterday was Zuckerberg's turn to take the stand. The Meta CEO was escorted into the building by a team of people, at least two of whom were wearing Meta Ray-Ban glasses.

When you are talking to a person wearing these glasses, you are communicating with Mark Zuckerberg. Now, I don't have anything bad to say about Mark Zuckerberg, except that few people have capitalized so much on damage to human society, as Mark Zuckerberg.

I'm sorry to open up with an Ad Hominem - But it's a fact that social media is damaging to human society.
Not every network of language communication is bad - Facebook had a great product 15 years ago, when it was used to connect friends and family.
Now it's only used by boomers to doom scroll rage bait news articles and repost them.

Don't use "social media". Search out actual networks free from corporate propaganda.
